We rode into Durango today, after crossing over the Mesa Verde Plateau. Very cool town. The best of all gifts came yesterday. Park City resident and friend, Kurt Frankenburg, made an unannounced appearance. He was hiding in a café in Dove Creek, Co., and rode up on us from behind as we passed by the town. He kept us company today as well from Cortez to Durango . We sent him home today after reminding him that he'd lose his job if he didn't leave now. Any other takers? We'd love to see you. |
