Sarah Wright
Sarah Wright Sarah Wright is Executive Director of Utah Clean Energy, a non-profit public interest group working to speed the transition to a cleaner, safer, more sustainable energy future. www.utahcleanenergy.org Sarah strives to bring together diverse interests and constituents to create solutions that are bigger than the problems. Energy is a critical resource for our economy and our way of life. Our fossil fuel resources are finite and won't last forever and the burning of these fuels to power our homes, businesses and automobiles contributes to global warming, regional air quality degradation, and water pollution.

Energy efficiency and clean renewable energy sources will not only help solve our energy dilemma but they create new high tech industries and jobs and help clean up our air and water. Most importantly, they will substantially reduce our impact on global warming, the biggest environmental and economic threat facing the world today.

Before founding Utah Clean Energy, Sarah worked with industry in Utah for over 15 years as a consultant providing public health, occupational health and safety, and ambient air quality consulting services to private and public sector clients. She left her long-time position as an environmental consultant to fulfill her desire to help shift our economy to one that results in long-term economic and environmental prosperity and stability.

Sarah is honored to be part of the team to carry this important message of Peace, Youth and the Environment. Her husband Mark and eight year old son Eli will be following the journey from their home in Salt Lake City.
